In December 2022, I put a call out to my community for your top 3 albums of all time. The ones you would choose if you could only listen to 3 albums for the rest of your life. Genre didn't matter, length didn't matter (though, I'm realizing now that there are some LONG albums on my list that will take me a few days to get through).. All I wanted were your favourite albums so I could listen, over the course of a year, and get to know you all.
I also want to listen so that I can become a better musician.
In the next 12 months, I will be listening to 200 albums. All of these albums come from you all, from your suggestions and top threes (though some of you had a lot more than 3 albums to share!). If you sent me a greatest hits, I chose an album by that band I had never listened to start to finish. I want to hear the works as the artists intended them. As a body of work.
